New Year Planning

New Year, new beginnings, new opportunities. Now is a good time to sit down and do some planning to ensure that all areas in your business are performing and functioning efficiently so that you can meet both your operational and financial goals. Whether you employ staff or not, this is also a good time to take a look and determine whether you need more or less staff. Identifying the need for staff ahead of time is a lot less stressful than reacting to the need for staff later. Finding the right person can be a long process, so it’s best to identify this need as early as possible.

Take a look at your financials. Do you have enough cash on hand or an emergency fund to keep you afloat should you run in to financial difficulties or have an unexpected expense to cover? This is also the time of the year when insurance policies are coming up for renewal. Now’s a good time to shop around and compare rates on health, car, business liability and other types of insurance.

We should always be planning, evaluating and reviewing our business, but we don’t always stay on top of this. Now is a good time to start fresh and set yourself up for a success 2021.

Wishing you lots of love, abundance and joy in the New Year.
